Although the initial concept has been pitched for the yearbook, I'm still intent on looking for existing examples of yearbooks from other courses here and around the world, generally drawing inspiration from a whole range of printed publications. Our publication is to be a highly professional piece of design of which every little detail needs to be addressed and considered to deliver the standard of design that the course is about.
Equality is a strong idea we want to deliver throughout the book, the fact that every student studying on the course is a cog or gear working to keep the larger machine running, which is the program as a whole. This is something I shall bear in mind constantly, keeping my eyes out for innovative and unusual ways we can further the concept whilst still adhering to the briefed constraints of the project.
